Which is featuring some of the most ancient archaeological treasures in Sri Lanka, this vast Heritage sites are an impressive reminder of an ancient civilization.

Day - 01 Airport - Negombo

Arrival at Bandaranayaka International Airport in Sri Lanka welcome by Representative of “Travel Leisurely” then transfer to Hotel in negombo, one of the most attractive beaches in Sri Lanka, overnight stay in Negombo.

Day - 02 - Negombo - Anuradhapura

After breakfast proceeds to Anuradhapura, which is one of the world heritage site and Sacred city – with three monastic complex Mahavihara Abeygiri and Jethawanarama, The scared Bodhi- tree the oldest recorded tree in the world, masterpiece of sculpture work done by ancient Sinhalese. Overnight stay in Anuradhapura.

Day - 03 – Anuradhapura - Mihintale – Aukana - Habarana

After breakfast proceeds to Mihintale where Buddhism was first introduced to Sri Lanka. Mihintale is regarded as the cradle of Buddhism in Sri Lanka. The rock is riddled with shrines and rock dwellings. A grand stairway of 1,840 steps made out of granite slabs of 15' wide leads to the summit from where one could get a splendid view of the surrounding countryside.

After proceed to Habarana on the way visit Aukuna Buddha statue which has a height of more than 40 feet (12 m), has been carved out of a large granite rock face during the 5th century. The closely worn robe is elaborately carved. Overnight stay in Habarana.

Day - 04 - Polonnaruwa - Habarana

After breakfast proceed to polonnaruwa medieval capital of Sri Lanka the monuments are relatively well preserved and give clear evidence of the glory of Sri Lanka’s past. Remains of Royal Palace complexes including the Kings Palace and Audience Hall, Stupas, Masterpieces of sculpture and paintings, monastery complex, overnight stay in Habarana.

Day - 05 - Sigiriya - Habarana

After breakfast visit Sigiriya Lion Rock date back to 5th century, which is which is a unique combination of 5th century urban planning, landscaping, hydraulic management, engineering, architecture, painting, sculpture and poetry. Afternoon experience the safari in one of the three major national parks where its famous to see most number of elephants ,Overnight stay in Habarana.

Day - 06 - Dambulla - Matale - Kandy

After breakfast proceed to Dambulla Cave Temple which is dates back to the 1st century, It’s a complex of five natural caves; at Dambulla is one of the most impressive Buddhist temples in the world with its great number of Buddha statues and more than 20000 square feet of paintings. On the way to Kandy visit Mathale Hindu temple and Mathale Aluwiharaya Temple which is the historic location where the Pali Canon was first written down completely in text on Ola (palm) leaves. After that drive to Kandy, over night stay in kandy.

Day - 07 - Kandy - Peradeniya Botanical Garden

After breakfast visit around the Kandy city, Temple of the Tooth Relic, After Lunch visit Peradeniya Botanical Garden, which is well known for its large number of varieties of plants. Also ornamental and decorative trees, useful for medicine. In total there is more than 4000 species, including indigenous and introduced plants. In the evening see cultural dance show. Overnight stay in Kandy.

Day - 08 - Kandy - Pinnawala - Negombo

After breakfast proceed to Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage which is an institution that has been looking after orphaned or injured elephants for many years. You can watch baby elephants that are milk fed and the elephants that are bathing and playing in the river,

As all good things must come to an end, your chauffeur will comfortably take you back to the international Airport for a safe return journey.
